ARUSD Universal Course Expectations - Update #3

In Summer 2025, ARUSD finalized a Baseline Systems Study to analyze the systems influencing student outcomes and develop a teacher-driven action plan for improvement. In the 2025-2026 school year, teachers are developing their action plans to address the Baseline System Study results. This video provides an update from August 8th, when all ARUSD teachers attended their first professional development day in the 2025-2026 school year with a focus on implications through the lens of Special Education.

We are San Antonio Elementary and LUCHA at San Antonio

San Antonio Elementary and LUCHA at San Antonio combines two supportive communities into one campus. San Antonio Elementary provides a safe and nurturing learning environment that fosters high levels of teaching and learning where our students will reach their potential and become productive citizens, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.  LUCHA at San Antonio provides a unique educational environment for students and families with personalized attention to reach ambitious academic, social and emotional goals. Our schools are a safe, inclusive, and challenging environment where students engage in an innovative instructional program, while feeling welcomed, loved, and supported.
